Where is the best place to buy grey models in the UK? I'd like a GW-5000U-1JF, but don't want to get stung with import taxes / fakes etc. Would I be better off with the GW-5000U-1ER (similarly grey in the UK, but seem to be more sellers)? If I can, I'd like to go for the 1JF (I know that they're otherwise identical).
I've been lurking on this thread for a while coveting some of these lovely watches. I quite fancy one of the casioaks with the solar screen but I can't get on board with the all black dials so will wait and see if they release any new designs, I could be tempted by a nice 5600 though instead.
In the meantime I have this GR-8900A which has served me well, I have worn it almost every working day for the last 10 years. It is still on its original battery and it does now struggle through winter when there isn't much daylight which it never used to. I'm going to have a go at replacing the battery myself so have ordered a Panasonic CTL1616. Does anyone know if the screws on these would be Philips or JIS?

Here's an update,
Bought October 21. Photo today.
The only time this watch has come off my wrist is in the shower, when I clean it and my wrist, while I'm in there
It's been in the sea (a lot) submerged in oil, banged off tarmac, and off car undersides.
It's been in the sand, covered in paint (twice).
It's been on my wrist for probably 400 doses of doing the washing up.
I love it.
It's never put a foot wrong.
I bought the Kachi Iro (spelling) for the build quality and that it meant something to me. I believed it was seriously tough, and it hasn't let me down
Big thumbs up from me
