I intend to buy a G-Shock Mudman.

But some of the foreign colour variations on these watches appeal more than the black/red or green/green options that we get here in the UK.

How risky is it to go through eBay to buy one of the more interesting colour combinations?

Risky as in risk of a fake or something, I mean.

eg.

Like that.

What should I be looking out for? Do they bother faking things as cheap as G-Shocks?

TIA.

Just bought a Seiko Monster from these guys:

http://www.creationwatches.com/products/casio-g-sh...

Shipped as a gift with a low value so no duty. Takes 2 weeks from Singapore though but I would say trustworthy.

I bought two Seiko watches from them - a quartz chronograph on a rubber strap and the sub lookalike on a bracelet - both as presents.

Delivery pretty good and fast but when I opened the boxes to check them the bracelet on the sub lookalike had a mark on it and the crown for the quartz chrono wouldn't screw in - it was loose and just turned around and around.

I emailed the guy to tell him the problem and just got back a pretty patronising email telling me that I needed to push the crown to get it to screw in...thanks!

Since then I've sent him an email once a week (4 weeks) asking what he plans to do but have just been ignored - hence a call to the credit card company and some 'feedback' on here...
