Cheap-ish Square Watch, ala Bell and Ross etc?
Discussion
Hi guys,
Looking to expand my small collection with a square faced watch, possibly similar to the Bell and Ross ones although not necessarily exactly the same. I'd like it to be a fair size, no smaller than a Monster really.
I dont want to spend much, although it would depend on the quality of the watch - upto £200, but would prefer less than £100 to be honest.
I would prefer automatic and preferably a name with atleast a modicum of respect.
..Consider that if you cant find me one, I may go and spend £8 on this quartz crap:
..I do actually quite like it, and may get it anyway!

£8? Do it.
I don't think there is a respectable name for square watches under £100. Some people like Parnis. Been told Qifa2009 is a good source for watches on ebay.
For £100 in this style I'd just be looking for a recognised name if you know what I mean, not necessarily anything with respect per-se. The various Russian watches or some of the Werner's offerings. I will investigate Parnis, I think I've seen them mentioned in the same tone as 'Marina Militare', something which I am also looking at I don't think there is a respectable name for square watches under £100. ..I probably will get the £8 one for a laugh, but dont like the idea of having something with no real redeemable/respected features on my wrist. Atleast some of cheaper homages have automatic or mechanical movements.

Had already emailed previous to thread (and Helenarou for what it's worth..), but thanks for the reply I dont really want a B&R homage as such, as they are quite a distinctive design, however I doubt it will be worn anywhere that B&R would be known.
Have a look on Amazon for Invicta Watches ( Corduba Collection ) i have a couple of them and they are brilliant quailty and look the shiz!!
Heres a wee link to one very similar to one of mine.

Thanks for all the replies.
To be honest I am not that much closer to finding what I want though - or atleast dont know what I want!
I think I am going to get a Panerai style watch soon-ish, so I think it is best if I get a more original style square watch, or a genuine B+R. Maybe a few weekends at work needed..
Cheers.
