I have an Omega, and I have it currently on a Toshi leather strap.
However the other day the strap popped the pin and the watch fell off, fortunatly I caught it with my other hand before it hit the deck..
The question is, is it safer to have the watch ona braclet? Or a leather strap?
I don't insure the watch as they are asking for a silly amount due to postcode, but I would be thyroughly annoyed if I had had that happen at sea, or somewhere else etc..

NATO
or failing that, a V2 gasgasbones - http://www.gasgasbones.com/page814.html (with or without the Apollo logo thing)
Unless there is a strap connecting the two pins then the watch can fail at what must be the weakest, most poorly designed bits of a watch - Seiko do big pins, definitely the way to go, I wonder why others don't.

Doesn't matter. The springbar is the weak point; get it on a Nato or get insurance.Nato it is.
