Right then, my favourite watch is a big, chunky diver's style Casio. Rotating bezel, rubber strap, you know the score. Recently got a new springy pin for the strap and fitted a battery, which may or may not have been the original battery.

Since then, the analogue part of the watch has kept perfect time, but the digital part (showing the month/day/day) has been a bit erratic - I've had to correct it twice in two days.

So, would fitting the wrong battery cause this?

how wrong has it been? just a day out?

rather obvious but you wouldn't be the first, Are you sure the time is set correctly i.e. am/pm so the date is tripping over at 12 noon rather than 12 midnight?

Ah, could be, I'll try that. Thanks.
