My good lady has taken a liking to the white ceramic Chanel J12 watches.

However she doesn't really wear watches on a regular basis and I fear it will be nothing more than a temporary fashion bangle - with this in mind I'm looking for something similar for a lot less money. She already has an Omega collecting dust and I don't want another "fancy" watch going to waste.

Has anyone seen anything that has the same design as the Chanel but for a lot less, like £100 or so?

The Toywatch Plasteramic seems like an obvious choice but it looks really cheap and nasty, more £10 to my eyes:

It's lacking the shine that the Chanel has and generally looks a bit poo IMO.

Any other suggestions for something more Chanel and a bit less Lego?

I'll take another look at the Toy, maybe the lighting in the shop let it down - cheers.

Ditto this, my wife really wants one of these.

There are two on the market that I feel get close for a 10th of the money:

Storm do this one for about £219 called the Sona

And Guess do this one for around £300

both proper ceramic rather than nasty plastic. The Storm one is actually much more like the Chanel.

the j12 is a nice watch but a lot of money to spend for the " In Watch " if you can affort to spend 2 - 3k on a watch and in a few years when its no longer nice and fashion then fine.

in say take a look at toy watch try it on etc they do a normal and chrono and loads of colours

other ideas is try asos they might have some other white watches

Sorry but the pukka J12 looks cheap to me.

Might as well get a cheaper version & the Storm above looks a pretty good bet.

My Missus has tried them all on and the storm gets closest. Plus I have now found a place selling them for £175 which makes it a bargain.

Some of the other white watches are plastic which will just stain...

Thanks for the heads up on the Storm, that fits the bill nicely.

ETA: I changed my username, didn't realise it would only change on new posts, I was mcanny smile

£40 odd quid saving on the Storm. Can't find it cheaper anywhere else....

I would be looking at all of the fashion brands that do the lower end stuff - Gucci, DKNY etc
