Just done a deal for this baby & should have it Wednesday

I've wanted a brushed finish MO for a while, but you don't see many of the brushed versions around compared to the polished, so when I got offered this tonight, it was an easy decision.

Very chuffed.

Congratulations - a lovely watch and I'm still fond of mine (polished) despite it not getting a lot of wrist time.

Is it on a Toshi? I haven't seen one on such a thick strap before.

I've just been browsing TZ-UK again after self imposed exile for a few months. I can feel an itch developing, just not sure what for yet...

Cheers

Yes, it is coming on a Toshi + the original strap. Like you, not seen one on such a thick strap, but I think it looks pretty good in the photo's & I can always swap it if it doesn't suit.

Strap looks a bit hefty for a fairly delicate watch like the MO, but no great shakes if you're getting the original too.

Where did you get it from and how much if I can be nosey? I really like the Stowas at the moment, and can see me forking out for one at some stage!

They are big, so do need a fairly substantial strap, though I agree I'm not convinced that a Toshi is quite right for the MO.

I had mine on a navy blue Rios alligator, that looked pretty good.

As for price, in case Andy prefers not to answer, I will tell you that I sold mine for £550, about six months ago but I think prices have been rising since then.

They seem to get snapped up quickly, and their scarcity and sterling's weakness seems to have helped used values in the past 12 months. I sometimes winder if I should selll mine, but I think my wife would be really annoyed if I did.

I'm sure if you spend the money on her she'll be alright about it. biggrin

The Toshi may not suit the watch - I'll see. I have plenty of other straps to try with it, if not.

I don't mind spilling the beans on price. I was offered first refusal by a TZ-UK member before he put it on the Sales Corner.

I paid £700 (against £725 asked) which I’m happy with as although the saving against brand new isn’t huge, the price includes the Toshi & RMSD. The watch was new in Feb this year and has only been worn once or twice. Saves the 6 – 8 month waiting time vs ordering new too.

That seems like a great deal to me.

Nice Stowa, I think the strap dresses it down a bit which suites the brushed finish - good choice either way.

They're nice straps but just don't look right with anything less than a divers watch

That's a lovely watch, i've had a hankering for one of those for a while, but they're like hen's teeth!

Agreed. I paid £700 for mine (12 months old) and it came on a croc strap and Stowa deployment.

Actually wearing the Stowa as I type. The seller actually lives quite close me and was kind enough to drop it round this evening.
I've swapped the Toshi for a brown Di-Modell Jumbo, but I have a couple of black straps that work quite well with it too.
I'll try to get some pics of my own at the weekend, but for now, I'm well chuffed.

Lovely watch, I think it works on the Toshi but I'm not saying it is the best option, I is a watch that I feel needs quite a heavy strap though.
