How much is my watch worth? Seamaster Professional 007 LTD
Discussion
Hi all...
I'm new here (to the forums) been visiting pistonheads daily for years.
I've a question which i'd like to ask you all. I purchased a Limited edition Seamaster Professional earlier on this year (January). At the time i had the pick of the shop (Parkhouse Jewelers) and decided that the above watch was the "one" after i'd had it on my wrist. I did try the planet ocean and now think that i've made a mistake.
This is the watch (had trouble finding images)

Is this watch nicer than a Planet Ocean? I know it's rarer as its a limited run of the watch and it really is a nice watch to wear, with the gloss black face instead of the waves!
I'm so undecided and indecisive by nature, so am asking for advice from the people who know & own good watches (you guys)
What is my watch worth if i were to sell it? Should i??
Thanks in advance for any help!

While i see exactly where you are coming from i'm in no way pretending to be James Bond here! lol, the reason i bought this one is because i liked the gloss black face over the waves, i've already had an original blue SMP with waves so opted for something different.
Thanks for the reply though and your opinion is duely noted!

Thanks...are you sure i should keep it? I paid a lot less for it than it was advertised for in the shop. Was £2075 advertised and paid £1750 for it. So a little saving there! Would it gain value long term?
Sometimes i'm afraid to wear it just in case i wreck it.
I can't help but think a PO would be nicer, but orange bezel or not?
Thanks again for the replies!

If you're thinking of residuals I'd go black bezel - less likely to age. If you're unlikely to sell, go for which ever you like best. The SMP & PO are both great watches, but for my money, I prefer the Speedy Pro.Edited by andy tims on Friday 11th September 22:55
