I have an Omega Seamaster Prof as my daily wearer and it a super watch and I would never be without it. I also have a Speedmaster which is a lovely watch but since the seamaster has gone in for a service (10 long weeks to wait) I have realised that I don't have the same feelings for the Speedie. So it is probably time to trade it in for something else and have a change.
I was toying with the idea of trading it in against a vintage rolex of some description. I've been scouring the usual places and have a few possibilities but then I stumbled across something which is a bit off the wall.

I quite like the idea of a Oysterdate but one with a mickey mouse n the dial? At first I was not convinced but the idea is warming to me. Have a damaged my brain with too much Gin or does this have a certain eccentricity which makes it fun? I'd be keen to hear what you guys have to add to the debate.

its certainly different - I can't believe Rolex did this and people bought it. I you sure its not a Timex in a Rolex case
Its the kind of thing I would get, just to be different, my only worry would be the novelty would wear off, but then, I'm sure you could sell it and not loose money.
Go for it, if you like it.

Opinions from someone with very little knowledge about Rolexes...
I was going to ask if it's collectable but it's already in the vintage category and at the lower end of Rolex watches ie affordable (a relative word, I know). So, if you like it and you know it's authentic (I see ebay there), then why not. The idea of Snoopy, Mickey Mouse or Bender on any high end watch turns me off, but I'd happily wear this Panerai Radiomir copy...
