I need a watch...
Discussion
Following the demise and damage of my decent watches - I am looking for an interesting daily beater, but on a limited budget.
I do have a something to wear for work, my Omega PO, but given the fact I really can't be trusted, I want something different. I want something big.
Does anyone have this http://www.wernersflyingwatches.com/products.asp?P...
Any wrist shots?
Can't go wrong for £109 and i really rate Werners having purchased from them before.
Am I right in thinking they give PHers some sort of discount?

It *is* big, and attracts a lot of comment when I wear it - I like it and wear it but still look at it and wonder why sometimes! Think I got c.10% off.
Like, "Mummy, why is that man wearing a clock on his wrist?"?Would be keen to see some more 'on-wrist' shots if you there were any? I know I will probably get it in the post over the next couple of days but I'm eager like that.
Another question, does the crown dig into your hand? Can you actually move your wrist when wearing this thing?
Does a larger watch exist?
I was wearing a 52mm when I went through security at Heathrow recently. The bloke made me take my belt off for scanning "and that watch too. That's bigger than Big Ben."
It was only after the full cavity search I regretted pointing out to him that Big Ben is the bell, not the clock...

Well, it depends how you wear it. Most guys wear their watches like they work in the IT ie strapped tightly to their wrist. This is how a watch can look too big. And oversized crowns will stick into the back of your hand. If you wear it really loosely so it falls over the back of your hand, past the wrist, in the flesh, a 45mm watch on skinny wrists like mine will look good (so girls have told me). Obviously, wearing it this way with a smart suit won't work so you could only wear an oversized (for you) watch with casual clothing.God, this post is so gay.

Don't know why , I really can't explain it, but Hugh Fearney Wittingwotnot wears like this and makes my piss boil. Hangs half way down in to the Souffle or whatever he is making....God, this post is so gay.
This guy wears his watch very loosely, too.
If that's what it takes to encourage women en masse to remove their clothing...
