I looked at these a while back when I just popped into the Porsche Design shop in the West End to while away a few minutes whilst the wife was destroying the credit card in some handbag dealership....

Anyway, thought the watches were not as "good" as they should be given they have the Porsche name on them and the price they were charging. Basically felt a little "cheap" and lightweight to the touch compared to similar priced Omega's I had looked at in the previous couple of weeks. I Decided to stick with my Breitling and keep the pennies for another day on that occassion.

They could be substantially reduced if they are a model that is no longer in production and didn't sell well. Hopefully one of the resident experts and/or traders will be along shortly to explain why are are so cheap compared to the original list price.

The auto (non-chronograph) fitted with an ETA 2892 is £499 in the Mirror offer compared with £795 on watches.co.uk.

I do think this is last year's model (or similar) as I think I recall Jura Watches offloading them back in the summer for discounted prices. Perhaps watches.co.uk may have bought Jura's stock?

The £500 Mirror offer seems quite reasonable to me and might be worth a punt.
