Folks,

Looking for the cheapest "dress" watch I can find.. Have a black tie do on Friday and would like something slightly more subtle than my normal daily wearers (that don't even deserve a mention in these hallowed pages!)..

Really, I'm thinking silly cheap..

Do your worst (or should that be best?) ..

well not really a dress watch per se but still a nice looking piece that for £95 I would say is pretty good value.

Lovely suggestions Craig, thanks for those..

The only trouble is, your definition of "silly cheap" is obviously somewhat different to mine..

Really... I'm talking SILLY cheap..

Swatch do a smart steel case and black strap for under 70 quid. Doesn't even scream Swatch at you either.

If you want super cheap, Next have these unbranded ones:

Just pop into your local high street and have a look in Argos, a cheap jewellers etc. If you want it to look classy, get one without "Quartz" written on the dial, and preferably without a second hand.
