I do quite like the look of these myself - if you have a butcher's on eBay you might be able to get 3 for about £50! smile

Agreed, although the Seiko is more desirable as automatic and occasionally drops below £50 (currently around the £60 mark)

Agreed, I wear mine daily to work, and paid around 50 for it about 3 years ago. Perfect unless you have big wrists.

Yep I was deciding between seiko 5 and the above, went for the above purely because I wanted a leather strap. Might get the seiko too though...

G-Shock?

Just under £50, might be useful for someone. Just ordered myself one.

I have one of these on the way to me...

From: http://www.greatwatches.co.uk/products/casio-mdv-1...

Enter coupon "great watches" for 5% off = £42.75 delivered. No customs or duty charges per the seller (I will confirm once it's arrived!).

I've also ordered a £5.59 metal bracelet to change from the rubber one, as shown fitted here:

Ebay seller: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/201174667585?_trksid=p20...

As recommended in this thread: http://forums.watchuseek.com/f71/casio-diver-just-...

Total spend for watch plus strap and bracelet is £48.34.

...if you prefer the original Casio bracelet: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231631884695?_trksid=p20...

Add a few NATOs of your choice for further fun?

Oh... and a Planet Ocean XL 45mm bezel fits precisely, although I don't particularly like the look myself...

The Seiko (SNK 805) is the one I wear every day too. It started out as a knockabout sports watch but it's become a favourite. Luminous hands are great when I'm sleeping in hotels and don't always have a clock to hand at night. I have slender wrists so a 37mm is big enough. I like the sand blasted finish, it means it takes knocks and dings well. I have wondered about poshing it up a bit with a nice leather strap. Something weathered and rufty-tufty would suit it very well.

The £ has made them a little more expensive, mine was £40 3 years ago. I quite fancy a blue one as an alternative, but I'm not sure it would get any use.

Mine is very far from posh, but goes with the rest of the daily wear.

Watch arrived with £3.05 VAT and £8 handling charge added. The seller had tried to call it a "gift" valued at $19. Unfortunately HMRC rumbled him AND $19 is just above the £15 VAT threshold. The VAT in turn triggered the £8 fee. Seller NOW understands not to try it on with HMRC and has refunded the £11.05 gracefully.

So, watch was £42.75 delivered (yours may not be!). Bracelet also arrived in 10 days and is a good match for the brushed and polished lugs. Solid end links too...

The other watch is an unusual Edifice I spotted. 1 month old, on leather with deployment clasp. £22 delivered. Just liked the look of it...

Very nice looking Edifice chronograph.

I've ordered one of those bracelets. I've got a few watches I think it would work well with.

Had one of these delivered from Creationwatches

Wasn't aware they were based in Singapore - even then, ordered Tuesday, delivered Thursday. Nice action. Need a slightly longer strap so trying a Z rubber jobber.

Any VAT or handling charge to pay on arrival? I've heard Creation mark their value down to avoid any charges. Still might get "valued" differently by HMRC of course.

Had my eye on one of these: http://www.creationwatches.com/products/seiko-auto...

Bit more than £50 of course. They do the Japan model too, for £6 more.

£3 customs charge.
