Finally pulled the trigger

Ahead of the Omega price rise, I finally took the plunge yesterday and got myself a Seamaster Aqua Terra cal8500. This is my first, but certainly won't be my last proper watch. I've been looking at various watches for ages and I've come to the conclusion that there is no single perfect watch. This one is pretty close though!.
I didn't realise until yesterday that the watch has brushed steel sides. I've tried (quite unsuccessfully) to capture that in the last picture.

Here you can see the two barrels mounted in series, which creates the 60 hour power reserve.
