Make sure it's a 40mm (not the 36mm) and make sure it's an auto, not quartz, but other than that, seems a reasonable deal. I reckon yours is worth £1,400 - £1,500 maybe, and the blue one £750. (assuming both good condition with all the bits).
The 2531.80.00 is a bit of a classic I think, partly because it was the "Bond" watch of the Brosnan era of films (apart from Goldeneye, which was a quartz). Seems to matter for some reason. So may even go up in value over time.
