Holiday watch....
Discussion
I currently have a Rolex Submariner as my daily watch but I'm after something to take on holiday to have on the beach and around the pool. I know my Rolex is ideal for this and I will more than likely wear it for this purpose, but I also like the idea of something a bit cheaper.
I have been looking at the Porsche and Glycine watches on watches.co.uk as they provided an excellent service when I bought my Rolex. Anyone owed a Porsche Design
Flat Six Automatic P6310 or a Glycine Incursore, Lagunare Automatic model?
Are these over priced (£600)? I don't fancy a Seiko Monster, I have been looking at them but very unsure. I had even thought about a Casio G-Shock or a Suunto Core.
I'm also not bothered if it's a second hand watch.

Mudman G9000 series. Look at the photo of the back, It'll never get sweaty and start to pong. You can cover it in sunsreen / ice cream / Ouzo and Redbull, and rinse it off. It's all protected by a neoprene thingy. When you get home it can be your official 'Finding that rattle under the bonnet', or 'Stirring paint with a stick' watch.

Rolex + insurance = can't go wrong.
I will be honest I will probably mostly just stick with my Rolex during the day but I still fancy another watch. As for a Tag F1, I have an old 2000 series that I put on a leather strap that has been faultless, great watch that I got for my 21st. I should realy wear it more, but I don't want another Tag. Thanks for the suggestion anyway.
If you're going to Spain the African bead sellers will sell you a nice watch for $5. If you're going to the Caribbean, the Jamaican bead sellers will sell you a watch for $5. If you're going to France or Italy, the Gypsies will sell you a watch for $5. If you're going to Australia, New Zealand, the far east or the USA, the Chinese will sell you a watch for $5. If you're going to the south Americas, the coke dealers will sell you a watch for $5...etc.
You won't need to find these bargains they'll find you.
Worst, 'I'm so rich I wanna buy a pricey watch for the beach' thread ever.

The Glycine Combat Subs look good, £500-odd, and a bit of holiday orange...
I borrowed a pic, the ones on the sales sites don't do it justice:

As a brand are they well respected?
