On the seamaster subject,
the case back of my 2005 25318000 model has some small engraving on it but my other does not,
is this foa reason?

The one without the engraving is an earlier watch.
I think the laser-etched engraving was added around 2004/2005.

It's amazing how blue it can look in some lights.

Ive had plenty of comments this weekend, more than I ever got with the black one.

For me, it's the perfect size too.
