Hi All,
Looking at new Kitchens in the next few months and wondering if anyone has any experience of designers and/or fitters local to Hemel?
Just looking at the usual major companies at the moment (Wren, wickes etc) so looking towards the lower end of the market but I know their fitting cost are normally laughable, so if anyone knows of anyone decent it would be really helpful smile

Thanks
GB

Why not get someone like Magnet or Wren to design the kitchen and then, using those designs, order what you want from 'diy kitchens' and get a local chippy to fit?

Thanks for the thought. I've done similar in the past and although results were good it was a lot of project management to arrange electrician, plumbers, tilers etc. Not really got time for that right now so was hoping to find a one stop shop...

I used to work for a company in Hemel, Cloisters Design. They do everything from hugely expensive bespoke designs to off the shelf units. Their head designer, Michael Bolton (no relation) was excellent.

Thanks offspring. Sounds great. I'll pop in and see them. Hope their kitchens are better than their website though!

Glad he was helpful! He's was a keen car when I worked there; he had a well sorted VX220 although I think he's now moved onto motorbikes.

Just to follow up on this thread, we ended up buying from wickes and using the designer in the Hemel store we had used before and had been impressed with.
Also was very impressed with Naturewood in Chesham who offered a fantastic design service but sadly didn't quite offer the product we wanted.
I never got to speak to the guys at cloisters as they were so booked up it I couldn't get an appointment for a month and I am too impatient
