Hi,

Can anyone recommend a car seat trimmer please ? Somewhere in the Watford / Hemel / St. Albans areas preferred. Looking for first hand experiences from happy chappies smile

Probably a fairly simple job - have a pair of fabric Recaros that although they look good the foam on the bases is starting to break up / disintegrate. Not something I want to attempt myself as I'll probably feck it up...

TIA

I used Gary Creasy in Wheathampstead to retrim my Recaro's a few years back. Not sure if he's still in business but his website is still up and running. He did a super job for me at a very reasonable price. Definitely would recommend.

Huke Upholstery did a fine job on my old TVR seats a while back - kept the old patinated leather and replaces the foam and springs.

They used to be in Hemel but they've moved out to the countryside now at HP1 3BP

AR Pound in Baldock redid the foam in scooby seat recently, think it was £30 for 1 base but i had stripped the seat down for him

I agree with that. Just had a car trimmed by Dave and it’s 1st class. Really nice guy too.

Hi,

Just wanted to confirm that I used Gary Creasey in the end - lots of good reviews and closest to me too.

Did a grand job, realistically priced and more than happy to recommend !
