Barrington New Year's Day Car Meet 1 Jan 2020?

There is usually a car meet in Barrington Cambs. Reading some articles from last year, it was clear there are some issues.

Does anyone know if it is happening in 2020?

We stopped going to the Barrington event a few years ago as it had outgrown both location and facilities which is a shame as its a lovely village.

The last few years we have attended Vintage Stony instead, fantastic selection of cars, bikes and even boats sometimes. Lots of pubs, cafes and other shops open for the morning so more of a family event. It does get busy but a great event.

Barrington is alive and well. However, there is nobody officially organising it so folks are just turning up through habit or peer recommendation.

Meets are first Friday of the month from spring to autumn and die out in winter. We get upwards of one hundred cars and there is plenty of space for everyone.

There are rumours locally of a meeting New Year’s Day so I will see if I can get a confirm from a friend in the village and report back ASAP.
