Potentially looking to move here, based on an easy commute to Liv St.

Any ideas on what it is like?

Edited to add:
Couple late 20s
No kids yet

I moved to cheshunt from Enfield 10 years ago. we've been happy here, it's not particularly fancy just regular working people in the area

I've been in Cheshunt for the last 8 years. As said above, its ok... nothing outstanding.

Some good places to ride a bike if so inclined.
Varied amount of food outlets, and a few good pubs
Fast train is 20 mins to Liverpool St.
Easy access to M25

Hi there,

I live in cheshunt, have been here about 5 years. Not a bad area, it's not the most affluent of places (thats the rich folk in goffs oak and cuffley!) but it does seem fairly normal to me, doesnt seem to be a lot of trouble around. Good access to main roads, trains, and lee valley is a great place to get "lost" in, lots of walking, cycling, wildlife and other activities. Good places to eat as well, Peking House is blinding for chinese and Wimpy does a fantastic burger. Chaps in mr unique seem pretty good too so theres that for routine servicing / tyres / MoT and also some repairs (they did a great job on my wifes BMW when an idler pulley leapt for freedom). Seems to be a bit of a car culture in the local area too.

Yea, go for it, there are far worse places to live.
