Established during lockdown, and open for business from April 12...

Sim racing centre utilising VR or screens, and motion simulators. Fanatec sim equipment including Direct Drive bases. I'm involved with the business so I'm going to blow our trumpet a bit, but if you're into sim racing or want to experience really, really immersive driving (or flight - we do jets and helicopters too), please do check us out - it is absolutely awesome. We only have two sims at present but given the current covid situation that's probably for the best!

VR Sim

The sims make a bit of noise in this video but you don't notice it when you're driving / flying:

Hi Eddy, looks like a nice setup.

Do you know if the motion platform has the ability to simulate loosing rear traction? I have used VR with Assetto Corsa a number of times and the biggest issue for me is not having the sensation of losing the rear. I have spoken to other racers and non-racers and it seems a particular problem to those going from a car to a sim. I need to have a few sessions around Brands Hatch GP in readiness for a support race with the GT world challenge series in August.

Thanks.

Yes, traction loss is simulated: Assetto sends the telemetry and the motion rig translates it to yaw pretty effectively.

Take a look at the video on the homepage, there’s a AC clip where about 10-15s in there’s a deliberately provoked slide, so you can see how it responds.
