Further to this thread who'd be up for a pub meet in or around Milton Keynes? (I'm open to suggestions) It seems there's a few of us now, so it'd be nice to know who we are!!

Week commencing 20th August would be a good week for us as Little Trackside is away, so we can make any evening apart from Wednesday. And if anyone wants to recommend a nice pub...

If i'm in the country i'd be up for this.

The Swan, Milton Keynes Village? Not been there for a while so dunno if it is still as nice as it was.

Sounds good to me.

I am away the next weekend, but that week is fine.

Haven't been to the swan for a couple of years, but it used to be really nice

The last time I went to The Swan we got accosted by about 5 bar staff all trying to serve us at once - it was like they were working on commission!

That was about six months, but it was still a nice pub, and the car parks big enough...

Off course they can Matt-Chew (I was going to send you an email anyway in case you missed this thread).

The Old Beams - that's the pub that burnt down in Shenley Brook/Church End isn't it? I haven't been there for aaaaaages.

I'll be up for this weather dependent.

What was the name of that pub/restaraunt place we finished one of the Northants runs last year. I was passengering Greg in his Cerb that day. Was next to one of the lakes in MK if i remember rightly.

It's nice next to the lake but i would be a bit nervous about going there in the evening with lots of nice cars. (depending on what people came in)

The car park is a bit tucked away behind the pub and a bit cut off from everything else
