We managed to use a fair amount of the fuel on the rather spirited drive back to Northants on the basis it was 10.50pm, we were on the M1 and we didn't know what time the supermarket stopped selling alcohol! An emergency.

Going to try and sort out some Saturday night beers in LB soon if your around?
That would be good - plus Greg can walk home rather than get lost (even when he has satnav in his rental car - come on chap, what time did you eventually get home last night?!!!)Going to try and sort out some Saturday night beers in LB soon if your around?
We got home eventually. My knuckles are still white, and with any luck she might start talking to me again tonight

Hey Dan,Also hello to Dave, i work in Sandy!
Sorry I didn't say hello at the pub - Will endevour to meet you at the next one.
I think we should have the next one in October (near the end of the month), but I'd like to go to a different pub. The Swan is very nice, but there were too many of us to all sit together and it was much too noisy!

Good idea Mrs T - lets have another early October
As for suitable pub, the best bet is to pray for nice weather (october is usually OK in this country) then we can all sit outside somewhere - almost any pub with a beer garden would then suffice
I'd rather it was later in October, for obvious reasons As for suitable pub, the best bet is to pray for nice weather (october is usually OK in this country) then we can all sit outside somewhere - almost any pub with a beer garden would then suffice
