If we're down Clophill way there are some glorious roads between barton and hitchin, the B655 is fantastic as is the road linking Barton to Stondon.

Harold to Pod road is getting very worn now, if they have not resurfaced it, I would not recommend it, shame though as its a lovely road

Bedford to Sandy past Chicksands is a lovely route too, as is Maulden/Clophill/Ampthill road, my personal faves are over Oakley, rural Kempston, Bromham, Pavenham, Carlton etc, thats because I know them very well and feel confident round that way, done the journey often enough biggrin
I don't know the route to Clophill, but from there it's not far to Baldock, then the Baldock to Buntingford road is really good, followed by Buntingford to Newport (I think Jamie Oliver's parent's have a pub there) near the M11. Then NW to Royston and some little roads to Sandy and a few cups of tea?
Though I guess that's pretty far East for most people.

Also live Turvey/Pevenham way, but we don't go out there much.

So we have so far...

Probably going:
Bedford Rascal - 111r
Mrs Trackside - Elise
cckbell - Elise
jon - SW20 Turbo

And Maybe going:
Foolish Dave - 111r
missdiane - Elise
Oggs - Chimaera

I suddenly feel very Japanese and very heavy redface

I've just dropped an email to Dell to see if he's interested. Orange Gallardo with Tubi style and decats. If he shows I'll be spending the whole day weak at the knees from the sound cloud9

The Elise needs a new set of rubber so if it's wet, we will be in the Scooby (therefore heavy and Japanese too (but slightly faster than the Elise wink))

If it's wet I'm out of options, the tyres are shot on both the track car and the 350!

To be fair the SW20 sees of most Exiges on track, it's the pesky supercharged ones that annoy! It's not got a very compliant road chassis due to the modifications so I imagine a well driven elise will peg me on a bumpy b road.

Any other sunday and I would have come (if nothing else so I finally put a face to the Bedford name!), but we're heading off to Norfolk on the Monday and sod's law says I'd bend the Porker if I came out to play.

Close - but it's Rickling Green for the Cricketers...

Depending upon start time and start location I should be up for this. Depends how we get on that day with the business fitting out.

Dumb-ass award goes to me!
I was thinking this was this weekend!
It's our anniversary that Sunday, so I don't think we will make it.
