No worries mate - means I don't have to phone the pub and change the numbers smile

Sorry you'll have to be in on a lovely day, but hope to see you at the next one.

I now know what I'm doing for the weekend, which will involve leaving Cheshire sometime on Sunday morning after a late night out.

I'll get there if I can but don't put me on the food list.

Hi,
just found pistonheads and the beds/etc. area... yeah i know i can be a bit special sometimes. anyway saw you guys were meeting up and wondered if it would be cool to stop by - seeing as i'm only a village or 2 over from old warden. don't worry about food as it's so late notice. so if you see a red mitsusquishy GTO with a slightly bewildered looking driver haunting the car park - wave me over and i'll say hi. i'll probably bimble over about 1.30 - 2 ish if that sounds ok?
cheers

julian.

Get out clause

We are still only a maybe, if we do make it, we will not be in the Lotus as it's poorly, booked into garage in 2 weeks and we are scared to drive it for non essential trips frown

Hi,

We'll be eating around then, so pop inside and find the group of 10 + a couple of others not eating - we'll wave at random people till you come and say hi or they freak out and leavewink If you get there a little earlier then we can meet you outside.

Having some car issues. The little bugger (205) won't start. Starter motor now properly on its way out. Starting procedure now involves rocking to and fro in 2nd or 3rd gear to free up the starter motor.
It now won't start at all but I should be able to change it over Saturday morning. Fingers crossed.

sorry about the late heads up but real life has once again got in the way of fun and i'm not going to be able to make it so don;t worry about waving at random strangers - unless you feel like unsettling people in which case go right ahead. hope you all have a good time.

Just got back after another good little meet. Thanks for organising once again Dave. My poor little motor seemed a bit out of place amongst all the rear drive cars being the only front driver. Oh well. Was good meeting you all again along with a few new faces. Always good to meet up for a natter and a bite to eat. Hope we all had a good journey home and didn't use up too much rubber.wink

Fecking typical. I've not been called out at all yet. And the missus has gone out, so I could have stayed out to play.
Oh well, here's hoping for better luck next time.

Nice to meet everyone for a lovely lunch and thanks to Dave for organising it all. I need a red car as mine is too girly

I had a nice little dibble back up the B660 on the way home, perfect weather for it.

wavey Good to meet all the new people and catch up with the old (and wiser?) faces too.

We thought about popping to Burger King for spot of supper but decided against it, what with all the kids that hang around there in their cars these days
