I'm looking for a good independent to carry out some odd bits on my track prepped 205 MI16. Preferably a proper mechanic type place not just a diagnostics place, sympathetic to this type of car. Oh and good with carbs would be a bonus!
Anywhere in North London/Herts/Essex - prepared to travel for such a place. I'm based in Hatfield.

thanks for any input,

Jonny.

I use Kimberley Motors in Potters Bar for my TVR.

Jason is a top bloke who knows a thing or two about race engines & there's always some track car or another in there when I visit.

tel: 01707651999

tell them I sent you smile

My Quantum Xtreme is with Crazy Horse at the moment having spitting webers sorted.

Initial impressions are very good. I will report how the work has gone when I pick her up later.

I think I'm going to give them a whirl. I actually need some carb work doing myself and a new seat mounting fabricated to put me lower in the car. The fabrication bit isn't normally what they do but they said they would give it a go!

Thanks for the recommendation Blib! I mentioned your good self when I went and he knew exactly who you were when i mentioned the Stratos! wink - are they any good with brakes do you know?

thanks, Jonny.

Hey, why don't you pop over to the 'London' forum on here, we are trying to arrange a meet in Enfield next month. The more the merrier I reckon!

Sure thing. I've been looking for some kind of regular meet in North London/South Herts Area with like minded people so an Enfield meet sounds good.
