It seems my S is now a little bit famous:

I ummed and arred a lot about referencing the particular roads, but I decided it's not going to be read any more than the biker sites which already do so.

clap Nice article mate. Really well written - love the pictures too. Don't have enough of the S in motion, loads of it standing still but none on the move. Next time you're out on a run, drop me a line. Always up for a hoon!

Well done on that mate. Looks like we got a budding new motoring journo in our midst. Same as Doug really, I'm always up for a good hoon if not busy. Tis always good to strtch the lazy motors legs once in a while.wink

Cheers gents.

Unfortunately I'm the only one insured to drive the car and so the moving photos had to come from a mate of mine who's not really that into photography! Whilst we were driving along I spent ages trying to explain the concept of slowing the shutter speed down to generate a blur. Unfortunately the one time he really nailed it and pulled off a first class shot was when we had a Volvo 440 in front of us. Doh!

I do quite like the one next to the NSL signs at the bottom, but that, along with a few of the others, involved cheating slightly - I actually took them on the road that runs from Hertford up to the Hadhams.

I spent a week working for MSN cars a few weeks back and I did a few articles amongst other jobs. I also write for The Loop (Enfield magazine...), Madabout-Kitcars.com, UkEvents.net and my own blog at:

http://chriscarblog.blogspot.com/

I've got some very interesting things on the cards at the moment including possible involvement with a couple of high-profile magazines.

Motoring journalism seems to feature long hours, hard work and little pay, but I honestly can't think of anything I'd rather be doing.

Hopefully at some point in the not too distant future I'll manage to build up enough writing experience and a sufficient portfolio to do it professionally.

Will definitely have a to arrange a hoon sometime (you'll have to excuse me driving like an old woman!) Speaking of hooning - the exhaust you've got on that Coupe sounds incredible Graeme; a real mini-V12 sound.
