There is a future organ donor who rides the A1 in Beds in the evening rush hour who likes to demonstrate his front tyre saving skills by popping wheelies at goodly speeds - I have seen him 3 times now, usually between Sandy and the B645 where he turns off. His usual trick is to sit up your, or anyone else's chuff, at 70 and when you pull over he sticks it on the back wheel and takes off into the distance.

Has anyone else seen him and his tiny, tiny numberplate that is actually forward of the rear axle? Whilst he has a lot of "skill" I fear a smeary end soon.

I guess it must be something meaty to be able to still be accelerating at oogorblimey speeds on the back wheel. The first time I saw him he was doing wheelies then hitting the brakes hard and repeating it along side a guy in a RS4, it looked like he was trying to goad him but the Audi wasn't having any of it.

Well, I saw Mrloser again this morning - we were all quite happily in the cruise at 70mph in both lanes and he comes shrieking through the middle at a good 100+mph. In the brief glimpse I had it seems to be a pale blue Rizla bike and that numberplate of his...it's actually right in front of the back wheel. Von, please feel his collar.

I have nothing against filtering, wish I could do it myself, but this guy takes it to a whole new level.

scratchchin Maybe Clarkson had an idea with that Fiat the other night...

I think this guy will be quite capable of taking himself out on his own, I just hope that no one else is involved.

That's the sad part, it's not him taking out himself, it's who he takes with him.

I'm also sick of tts like this giving us bikers a bad name.

Not sure if it's the same person or not, but seen something similar near Leighton Buzzard.

If you see them regulary maybe fit up a cam corder and get it on tape if you can then mail it to the Police.

If his numberplate is tucked under like that, i'll wager he doesn't have a licence.

Was seen on Friday on the A421, Rizla colours with a tucked plate, jeans and a t shirt. My estimate was 150mph as i had to check i was still moving!

It depends where about on the 421 you saw him, but on some sections of that road its easy to top 120~130, and thats on an old lardy tourer ZX9R.

This guy does sound a cupid stunt though, acting like that all the time.

Between Beford Interchange and Willington turn off.

No real excuse for his riding, he undertakes, he flashes his lights, he wheelies for fun and likes to get triple figures at all times.
