While neither of my cars are worth shooting, I wouldn't mind bringing my camera gear along, especially if it's going to go into the night.

You can do interesting things with darkness and remote strobes smile

Jon black 350z very nice car.
As for coming along you are more than welcome, i haven't tried night photography with cars so could be interesting. I only have one strobe and it is rubbish though.
Email me.
Thanks,
Luke

idea Just a thought from left-field here but....

Could we not find a suitably convenient/central and photogenic location(s) and bring together a few of the interested photographers and owners for a 'mini-photo-meet'?

I'd be interested in getting some good photos of my 350 and would be more than happy to stump up a few quid to cover costs, etc

Would be a good chance to meet some local PHers!

Not bad!

As a bit of C+C shots 2 and 3 have been metered wrong. The camera has probably used evaluative metering which means it's exposed the shot for a combination of the background and the car which has left the car under exposed.

Your 40d should have some decent metering options, explore them smile

Just spent a bit of time on that blurred background to focus more on car and lightned up a bit.

Nice images - good work; am I alone in thinking the 'shopped number plate(s) look a bit strange? Wouldn't it be better to 'shop them out entirely, ie, no plate at all?
