Do we have them?

Are they well attended? When was the last and when is the next?

Having recently moved down from the West Midlands where they have a regular meet it seems ever so quiet in here.

Surely we have a more than capable fleet of toys and roads round here for a very early meet with some enjoyable driving?

North London / Herts Regular Sunday meet

Could find out what's up at these.

I'll tell the big fella to stop his tiling and get route planning!

Would sir prefer something a bit more winding?

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Looks like there are gonna be a couple coming up which will be fun, Dunstable hoon sounds like what I'd be after. Already been enjoying some of the roads round the Downs etc..

Soon to be collecting a Westfield so will be in that dependant on when.. driving

Take a look at this thread too:

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Usually a fairly spirtied drive to be had before or after. I keep meaning to go along to one of the Dunstable hoons too. From what I gather they tend to head in the opposite direction to the informal post-meet drive after the North London meet so there's a bit of variety to be had. smile

Moving to Houghton Regis (I know) in August - once the house sale is completed - and will be up for some hoons. Been a while.

Will do mate.
Moving to Yew street on the outskirts - part of some local authority (or ex-local auth) development. Not sure if it is the greatest area but you pays your money... and the country roads to jct 12 start right there, so that's a plus point!

It's not the same scale or pace as the Dunstable Hoon, but I'm planning a little drive to follow the North London meet as we speak if anyone's interested.

Bringing this one back from the dead.
Thinking about putting the Saab away for winter, so wouldn't mind using it in anger before i do - any thoughts on a dunstable hoon? Think Oggs volunteered didn't he?
I'm happy to help out as much as i can, though have only discovered a couple of good roads around the area so far (i'm working on it).

you normally get people thrashing passed the downs and what not out to ashridge way. I've only been in dunstable myself for just over 3 months so still quite new to everywhere.
