If anyone happens to be out and about today, travelling up the B1004 from Much Hadham to Bishops Stortford, do look out for 3/4 of a deer by the side of the road half way up the hill. The other 1/4 can be found in a waste bin in Bishops Stortford and/or stuck to my car.

Very dead deer, badly wounded car frown

Ouch! Had a couple of close runs, but never actually collected one, hope there's not much damage to the car (or you).

Nope, the just-valetted 350... it would probably have shot over the top of the Lambo such is it's wedge shape.

If you want free venision, the chaps at Glyn Hopkins in Stortford should have a bag full - won't be steaks though, more likely mince judging by the impact!

smile ....just picked the car up from Glyn Hopkins. Bambi tore off a whole bunch of bits under the car which have now been repaired/replaced. They needed 3 hours to do it all, but the best bit is that they only charged me for 1 hour. This may, or may not, have something to do with the deal I'm currently doing with them to buy a new Navarra and a new Pathfinder cool .

Excellent service - they turn up at 7.45 to find me sitting on the doortsep with a broken Z, they take it in there and then, squeeze it into today's workload, sort me out with a Qashquai, fix it, and then valet it in and out and return it by 3.30. And charge me less than £100! Nice to get service like that... clap

The funniest thing is that on the receipt detailing work done there is a note from the mechanic saying 'Please note there is a quantity of animal entrails and hair attached underbody which we have not been able to remove today - this may cause unusual odours over the coming days' laugh

A hare once made the front bumper on my first car (a 206 - so it deserved it) very loose and slightly dented. Glad to hear your 350 is back in good health Had Ham wink
