I grew up in a town in the flightpath to Lakenheath. I remember being in the school field when it came over on an approach to land; the whole school would stop and stare

As a seven year old, seeing it fly over was pretty special

I really wish they'd do another Mildenhall airshow. I seem to remember there was some talk of the new top person (a lady I believe?) saying she'd like it to start up again a couple of years ago?

SR71 in those links as well and I think a flyby over Dryden with the flame puffs out the back. Some of the X15 stuff is amazing as well.
