Best places to see Military Jets in Lake District
Discussion
Morning all, I am off to the Lake District (Patterdale / Ullswater region) this weekend and was hoping to get some decent photos of the military jets flying through.
Does anyone have any suggestions of good places to go to see them, also any idea of times and frequency that they fly through - is it once a day or quite regular?
Thanks for any help
Phil

Top of Kirkstone pass is good as they tend to fly up the valley towards you, they come over at very random times though and you could be hanging around all day to see them.
They still manage to scare the life out of me every time they fly over, which is a lot as my garden seems to be a waypoint for them

I strongly suspect that military pilots in the following mannerwaypoint 1 Bloke that cuts the grass and shakes a fist at us
waypoint 2 House with the nervious dog
waypoint 3 Farm in the middle of nowhere that likes piece and quiet
waypoint 4 The ps off biggles barn
I found this website with a list of timetables for low flying, but none of it seems to be scheduled for LFA17 at anytime in July or August.....that can't be right can it?
