New advertisements for airlines???
Discussion
Does the launch of some new TV advertising for three big premiere airlines, Virgin, BA and also a rather dull offering from Airfrance, have anything to do with Mr Stelio Poppadopulous announcement to launch a new airline?
I reckon he is a planning an airline aimed at the higher end of the market. Plenty of budget airlines around competing in the minimum margin market - Not so good during a recession (also, he's been there, done that).
Maybe seeing as Concorde has been mothballed he will aim at the luxury mass market as it were? No steerage class, aimed squarely at the wealthy and business types, but who cannot justify private jet charter.
And FWIW, the Virgin ad was my favourite!

Ah yes, "Mr I've thrown my toys out the pram because I'm not getting my dividend".
Sabre rattling. Best of luck starting an airline in a recession in what ever type of market. Low cost now saturated, biz jet struggling (Netjets IRRC Europes biggest fractional operator offering redundancy packages).
I think Concorde would be his best bet
