If HMS Liverpool was also in the photograph, then THAt would be a good photo
I dunno,

does HMS dragon still have its tattoo?
Dragon still had the tat when we came back on the ferry from France at the beginning of June...
Yep, still painted. Still parked too.

One is for driving the boat, the other is for watching the planes.

Also survivability, redundancy.
Have planes landed on. Yet?

Land planes on it?

After all the money we've spent on it, you want to ruin the appearance by plastering the deck with skidmarks and Avgas?

Stop being so bloody silly grumpy

Depends if you class a Helicopter as a "plane"?
If so, yes.

Avgas? I know the F-23 isn't popular but are they being replaced with piston engines planes wink

Well the Navy Wing's air arm does consist of 2x Fairey Swordfish, 2 Sea Furies, a Supermarine Seafire, Douglas Skyraider, Chipmunk, Bristol Scout and Avro 504k.

As long as our enemy turn out to be Italian battleships in harbour, the Red Baron or some Korean Mig-15s we'll be good.

Thank God we still have Fairy Swordfish - I bet they are steathy, as radar must go straight through!
