My dad was stationed at Scampton and on duty the night 3 their Lincolns on exercise were diverted to Valley(fog at Scampton),2 landed safley RF511 didn't.

Recently by pure coincidence my father overheard a conversation regarding Valley in the '50's,it turns out the gentleman speaking had been in the control tower the night of the crash.
