Two fast jets with drops tanks just passed really, really low over South Sheffield. Tornado’s maybe?

Does anyone know what’s going on?

No, but the Mrs just rang to say they'd made her car shake as she went up Abbeydale Rd, said they looked like small Vulcans, so maybe Typhoons, nothing showing on FR24

They looked to have passed south of my position.

These definitely weren’t F16’s, nor where they Typhoons.

It’s not often that my home town gets a mention on PH thumbup

I wonder what’s been going on then? 600ft over a residential area is bloody low !

The participants for it has been arriving all week (see posts on previous pages) with plenty of support - it's due to start next week over the North Sea

  • Saudi Air Force Typhoons
  • Indian Air Force Mirage 2000s
  • Finnish Air Force F-18s
  • Belgian Air Force F-16s
  • plus our boys and girls
  • Maybe the 4 x B52's currently in Spain
Waddington / Coningsby will be busy

This has been in and out of Fleetlands a few times this morning, for wiper blades and screen wash no doubt… Now looks to be headed west and away.
Heliops are based at Portland that aircraft is “Damien” probably in for servicing as you suggested.

Just seen on twitter a post from lancs road police. It appears they were helping in the pursuit of a couple of idiots on electric bikes. Caught them on Daggers Hall Lane going of the picture posted.

Russian Il-76 heading into European airspace. I assume it’s another one of those special nuclear power station maintenance runs to Hungary.

Possibly Kaliningrad?

It’s nearly dodging territorial airspace.
