Very rare to see a Turkish Military Surveillance aircraft flying in the Baltic Sea area.

Normally to be seen in the Black Sea area

Doomsday plane just went over. At around 20,000 feet but loud enough to make me check ADSB exchange.

It flew over me at 7000ft, and - same - I checked ADSB! Wondered what it was - but knew whose visit it was related to.

What's that?
Surely not an F-16.... or at least, not one that I've ever seen

FR24 just takes the reg match of photos from jetphotos site. It can't differentiate between the air forces. If another air force has an asset with serial 1604 then it will take the most recently dated photo and display that.

The SA01 is a daily training flight from Šiauliai and has only recently switched to Romanian AF F16s. Previously it was being done by French AF Mirage 2000s but these very rarely ping mode-s so you never saw them on the map.

What looked like 4x F-16s just went over me in mid Suffolk - a bit hard to tell from behind as they scurried off!

Pretty rare to see the Lakenheath F15s on ADS-B exchange, this one was actually four in close formation when they flew just over just North of Norwich. Couldn't grab my camera in time unfortunately.

Where has this RAF Hercules taken off from? Or was he flying so low that ADS-B couldn’t pick him up. Just South of Cape Wrath, Scotland.

Two Hercs and an A400M (or C17, can't remember now)? Seen over Westbury in Wiltshire about an hour ago.

A pair of those F35s buzzed my back garden in North Norfolk at ~1000ft about 30mins ago.

I'm quite used to seeing F15s and the occasional Eurofighter or F16, but I did a full cartoon double-take when they came over.

Does Flight Radar show military stuff (if it's transmitting) as standard or is there a setting for it? Something fast came over a few minutes ago but not seeing anything military on Flight Radar at all.

I find ADSB better for military stuff, as you can filter non-military out by clicking the "U" at the top of the page. However, I think they tend to appear on both or neither - and more often neither.

Not seen that site before, is there a way to look at past data in the same way Flight Radar does the scrollable timeline? Interested it if has something fast flying over The Hague at 12:30 local (10:30 UTC).

ETA: Interestingly one track (NCG01) currently pootling along the coast towards Amsterdam comes up as a Dash 8 on Flight Radar and a King Air on ADS-B so clearly using different databases.

An RAF C17 has been doing a lot of long slow wandering over the North Pennines. Heading back to Brize Norton now.

AN-12B just came over to north of Chelmsford - as usual could hear it from miles away.
