There’s two of them together if you zoom in.

A tanker was doing some refuelling where they are now so I expect they’re doing some dissimilar air to air combat training?

Sometimes, whilst up feeding the little one I hear a helicopter go low overhead, but it never shows on Flight Radar, or ADS-B either.

Do they not show up if they're that low? We are in Deepcut, near Sandhurst/Pirbright military areas so maybe it's military?

Possibly, but quite a few police and air ambulance ones don't squawk their location. They do appear on ADSB if you have a cheapo SDR receiver, but usually callsign + altitude / speed only.

Quite probably one (or more) of Odiham's Chinook fleet.

They follow the M3 south, and fly right over my house quite frequently. And I mean directly over the house - I can stand on the drive and look up between my house and next door, and this hoofing great machine appears briefly, fills the sky, then clatters away again.

Recently we had a Wildcat over, also heading south, and regularly see Apache helicopters singly or in small formations tootling back and forth along the motorway route. They don't fly that high either. Sometimes the Chinooks seem to rattle the bleedin' windows!

As much as it can be irritating sometimes when you're watching TV and can't hear the dialogue, I'm planning to move away soon and I'm sure I'll miss them when I've gone...

I don't think its Chinooks, I would recognise that - But it's also like 2-3am in the morning.

We're not that far from Frimley Park Hospital, guess it could be an Air Ambulance coming in..

That was my first thought, but when I was down in Norfolk chatting to a guy who was going onto then base for an interview, he said they didn't have transmitters fitted to be picked up on adsb, I presumed he was saying that they would not be fitted.

Been a crazy day for wind, 787 almost face planted at LHR and a (I think) A380 pinging 7700 and diverted to MAN.

Take a look at middle East region. Looks like Qatar airways flights cannot enter Saudi / Syrian / Iraqi airspace. Guess the Saudis and Qataris haven't kissed and made up yet.
