Awesome to hear and see this guy

One of them coming over mine in about 5 minutes at about 3,000 feet, doing a go around at Manchester Airport at 12.30pm
Its the same one that did the circuits n bumps at Gatwick.......went from Gatwick up to Manchester, now heading back towards Waddo by the looks of it.
Was due at Manchester yesterday but went tech apparantly.

Possibly helping to bring their F35s home from Iceland.
Sadly not dragging anything behind it frown ( That I could see )
Normally a lower altitude if re-fuelling etc, this was at 39,000 feet, was much lower when it went up with the F35s the other week.

https://www.flightradar24.com/BAW9253/24c7ca6e - BA starting to take narrow bodies out of Bournemouth, presumably for a return to service.
Also a fair amount of Jet2 aircraft moving about either ferrying from Manchester to Glasgow & back or doing out and back test flights from Manchester/Leeds to the Carlisle area.

F15s (I assume) are back over Wiltshire today, I can actually see them this time, as dots in the sky...

Yeah we were up for 5hrs 30mins today. Left hand seat training for one of our pilots upgrading to captain. Currency landings for a couple of other pilots and then further training for a new pilot to the fleet.

Bumpy day up there today with the low level thermals. First time in 4 years I felt green after a flight. Good days training.

I think that was a post in respect of the IAF 767 tanker that was seen over UK today rather than your E-3 sortie?
