Unusual to see some Typhoons over the west, headed down to Salisbury Plain maybe?
Very rare to see.

There's 3 of them circling the area between Bridport and Dorchester.

There were 2 down there a couple of weeks ago practising refuelling from a Voyager

How come there are 2 APOLLO22 Typhoons up at the moment? One of them is circling Bridport and the other is up near Middlesbrough. Can they just pick whatever ID they feel like from the cockpit?

I think it maybe a glitch with the software?
The Apollo22 one down south is the one that keeps disappearing and then re-appearing all the time, and the tracking seems odd, so maybe its not actually there, and there's only two Typhoons circling around down south, and the 'real' Apollo22 is ooop north?

2 RAF Typhoons heading over the West Bank with a Voyager on hand to keep them refuelled. Screenshot taken just before the Typhoons disappeared and presumably crossed the border. I wonder if they then headed North towards Syria?

Hi everyone. We keep getting a double close formation of US C130J out of Mildenhall at odd times in the evenings/early mornings. I assuming these are supply flights?

Likely to be the refuelling ones to support the CV22 Ospreys.

The callsign ID is whatever the pilot programs in to his/her transponder. So yes, you can sometimes see 2 of the same callsign but most times it's not intentional, simply that they haven't updated it since yesterday's flight.

This just flew over. Aroused my curiosity as I’ve never heard of a police plane before, rather than a helicopter. Will a police plane be looking for a bad guy?

Edit - seems to be circling on the other side of the city, so maybe it is looking for a bad guy.

They used to be more common Hampshire used to run an islander. These new aircraft have been stuck in a hangar for the last few years due to paperwork issues I believe but as of this year are now operational.
Yep, NPAS now have them in use.

I saw two V22 Ospreys fly above me near Castle Douglas SW Scotland yesterday (08/07) afternoon about 15:00hrs. Heading NW towards Glasgow or Prestwick perhaps. Never seen them in this area before. I am guessing but could they have been at the Kirkcudbright Army Ranges?

Tried flight radar but couldnt find them. But I'm certainly no expert!

I would be interested in any info.

Seen a lot of military aircraft in this area but never these.

Don't think there are any KC-130's at Mildenhall?

They'll be MC-130J from the 352nd SOW, the same unit as the Osprey's.

The MC-130J fulfils a role "...for missions requiring clandestine single- or multi-ship low-level aerial refueling of Special Operation Force vertical and tilt-rotor aircraft..."

You need the ADS-B exchange to see military stuff, and even then a lot of the time you can't see what's overhead.
https://www.adsbexchange.com/
Go to ADSBX Radar View --> Tracking Map. Then press the U in the top right corner of the map.
