A400 is playing at Norwich airport again

I'll try and get a photo if it appears out of my office window, but the skies are grey and it's a grey plane so don't get your hopes up!

I seen yesterday afternoon coming into Edinburgh a Lauda Airlines aircraft think it was a A320. Never seen one before but nice sight seeing his name on the side of a plane.

Considering they ceased trading in 2013 I’d consider quite a rare site too!

Laudamotion, sometimes painted as Lauda, are a Ryanair subsidiary now: they operate a fleet of 28 Airbuses. Sounds like they'll be subsumed into the Ryanair empire by the end of the year, though.

4 military aircraft heading north over the north east, nothing showing on any radar website, also no tanker aircraft up or showing as up on adsb.
Edit to add I think we had a sonic boom about an hour before the jets came over, somebody is having some fun today.

Was triggered to look at FR to find out what the noisy prop thing was that just went over. 26,000 feet but it sounded like it was gonna pinch the washing off the line.

This AN-12 flew over me last night too, the noise is fantastic. Ukraine Air Alliance lost their European operating licence last year with the crash or UR-CAH and they don’t seem to have got it back so I’ve been wondering how they’ve been flying again for a few months now.

They seem to be operating under the callsign and license of Meridian Airlines Ukraine which just looks like some bullst playing of the system to me. Meridian don’t seem to have any fleet at the moment so it looks like they are just playing the system?

Heading into or maybe just landed into Edinburgh. Seen it fly over earlier very low in an odd direction. Checked flight radar it took off from Glasgow supposed to go too Larnaca. When I seen it was around 4000ft.

Jet2, 737. G-JZHL

Can anyone find additional info on it?

I've just come on here to see if anyone had posted about this. The noise seemed to hang around for ages! Cracking sounding thing.

It’s done the same for the last 3 weeks. Don’t quote me but looks like it goes to EDI picks up more passengers and then continues its flight to LCA, scheduled to depart around 9:30

You can see from the track and the blue dot where I am that it’s quite a long way off from me but I could still hear it for a good 10 minutes.

I miss the CAVOK AN12’s that used to fly over from East Mids nearly every day.

Didn't even clock that, that's quite a way off! I'm based in Fleet, went right over the top of me.

To Gyor, Hungary. A quick google suggests there’s a big VAG manufacturing plant there so linked to that? There was an ATP that went out from East Mids to the same place around the same time.

Recce-ing a bouncing bomb attack on the Rutland Water dam?

Coincidentally I was sitting outside one of the Barnsdale Timeshare chalets at Rutland Water about 10+ years ago, just as the Lancaster flew low and fast directly overhead.
