Anybody know what was doing laps of south Sheffield today (Saturday 5 Aug 17), including a loop?
It was too far away to identify, but might have been a warbird, and didn't show up on Flightradar.
Or it might have been one of those Russian aerobatic tractor things.
I was in Coal Aston all afternoon at a BBQ with a view towards Sheffield but didn't see or hear anything. It was too far away to identify, but might have been a warbird, and didn't show up on Flightradar.

Likely connected, but just had 2 low flyers circling over West Lancs, one looked to be a Thomas Cook flight & the other an EZY. Lived here for 14yrs & never seen aircraft circling to the North West of ours, only to the South.
