EZY seem to be doing some positioning flights this morning so I guess they are expecting things to pick up this week.

Thank god for a small amount of normality. Is Heathrow still operating one Runway or have they gone back to two yet?

Looks like they've been through the Mach Loop

Still single runway at the moment. I don't think that will change soon - there are only 12 countries on the 'Green' list at the moment.

F15 came overhead about 5 minutes ago, now hooking up with a tanker over the Highlands along with another F15

Does anyone get an issue with Flightradar where a plane or helicopter goes over but it doesn’t show on flightradar.

Not everything shows up on fr24, sometimes military stuff doesn’t show and other times it depends on the height of the aircraft or the location of receivers in your area etc.

Rememfr24 only works by loads of people with receivers at home picking up the aircraft and then feeding it to fr24.

This is very common - especially with helicopters as they’re often police/military and usually not shown.

I've found this. Things that are on ADS-B seem to show, even when they're on the ground, but anything on MLAT seems to need a reasonable height before it's visible (needs to be seen by multiple receivers?). Used to be a problem with FlyBe flights that were all MLAT - they would appear to land & take off from weird airports because FR24 wouldn't see them till a certain height, still a problem with things like Loganair's Embraers.
I guess the answer is to get an FR24 box & start feeding them data! https://www.flightradar24.com/apply-for-receiver

I thought until recently that the Planeradar.ru showed things that the others didn't, but I was very wrong. Yesterday in the evening (UK time) there were two B52's over the Texas/Louisiana area, both based at Barksdale AFB. They were visible on ADS-B exchange but not on FR24 or Planeradar. At the same time there was a B52 off Dubai which showed on Planeradar but not on ADS-B.

Looks like the F15's have started to enable their transponders. For a long time I have heard jets going over, but not been able to see them on ADS-B, but they are showing up as F15's now

Ditto.

I live on a direct track between Lakenheath (and to an extent Marham) and the Wash Weapons Area. We routinely get FJ activity over the top of the house with nothing showing on ADS-B (Marham Tornados always showed up as do the F35s).

Today was the first time an F15 showed up on ADS-B along with a wingman who showed up as an unknown type.
