Just heard something rather loud coming over my house, went outside and at barely 2000ft above me was a Boeing C-17A Globemaster serial number ending 0046 which is heading over to Kemble - seems to have landed now.

By no means the most exciting spot but from my view point quite low in the Stroud valley it looked so low it could have landed on Minchinhampton commonbiggrin

Just had a c17 go low and slow over Welwyn garden city. Last night also had a Apache very low. Been here 8 years and never seen any military aircraft really. Last week have seen about 5 Apache and today the c17.

How much stuff did the US take to Newquay!? 2 USAF C17s just left Newquay, along with at least 2 I saw leaving earlier this week/late Sunday!

Didn't they ship Marine 1 & 2 in on C17s?

Anybody know what's going off with this EasyJet plane that seems to be looping around Newquay?

It keeps dropping down to 100ft and then going around.

Training/currency I'd imagine. It came off of stand 170 at LGW, so I doubt there's any passengers on board.
