BA A380, G-XLEF currently heading from LHR to Madrid.

I see Emirates are operating their 380s again, maybe BA thinking of doing the same sometime soon?
They're brought back to LHR periodically to perform maintenance. I'm also told if the undercarriage isn't cycled every now and then, it has various implications for insurance and maintenance regimes. It apparently means that flying them every here and there is actually cheaper than leaving them stored.

Incidentally, I think Emirates have never stopped flying their 380's. There's certainly a couple a day coming into LHR and I saw one in MAN the other day as well.

Hawker Hunter, not sure if it's with the Typhoon, not showing up on flight radar.

No we weren't flying with the RAF, we rarely do. Just an air test

One of Martin Baker's Meteors is up. It just passed over my office. They are based locally at Charlgrove, but it's the first time I've seen one airborne.

Bit of USAF activity over Cornwall. KS-46 out of Ramstein just done a turn over Scilly and now seemingly hooking up with a trio of LN F-15s.

Are they two seaters for when they test one of the seats?

Yep the F15s passed over (West Wiltshire) a little while back, looked like they had a couple of support aircraft up with them. Pretty noisy!

It would seem so. Sod being involved in that test, I'd want an ejector seat.

Normally things returning to Brize from that direction go over me in the Chilterns at about 5000ft, I really really hope this does the same!
