BA A380, G-XLEF currently heading from LHR to Madrid.
I see Emirates are operating their 380s again, maybe BA thinking of doing the same sometime soon?
They're brought back to LHR periodically to perform maintenance. I'm also told if the undercarriage isn't cycled every now and then, it has various implications for insurance and maintenance regimes. It apparently means that flying them every here and there is actually cheaper than leaving them stored.I see Emirates are operating their 380s again, maybe BA thinking of doing the same sometime soon?
Incidentally, I think Emirates have never stopped flying their 380's. There's certainly a couple a day coming into LHR and I saw one in MAN the other day as well.

Bit of USAF activity over Cornwall. KS-46 out of Ramstein just done a turn over Scilly and now seemingly hooking up with a trio of LN F-15s.
Yep the F15s passed over (West Wiltshire) a little while back, looked like they had a couple of support aircraft up with them. Pretty noisy!RobbyJ said:

Are they two seaters for when they test one of the seats?
It would seem so. Sod being involved in that test, I'd want an ejector seat.
