I'm guessing the 2 x Hurricanes and 3 x Spits of BBMF might have forward deployed yesterday to Southend if the Lanc is up that early, as 2 hrs flying time is a bit much for them to be with the Lanc now....?

Spotted what looked like a pair of Jet Provost's practicing formation flying over Bangor-on-Dee this afternoon around 4.30, can't find them on the usual sites via playback, interested to see if my eyes were deceiving me, they were green not the usual red/white
BAC Strikemaster pair practicing for the upcoming display season?
Doh, yes makes sense, I couldn't find them on the web as I was searching for Provost not Strikemaster....spotter card handed in LOL

Thanks
Been practising all week, pretty low over us

I wondered if the feed was out of sync for him: I only caught the last bit waiting for the news, & he seemed to be focussing on the ones behind the ones on screen.

He was one step out but even so the number of planes on the screen didnt match
Did he say 3 spitfires and 2 hurricanes either side of the Lank - 5 planes in the sky

DId the A400 and C17 turn into a sentinel and rivet joint

Yep it’s quite obvious he doesn’t have a clue on the aircraft, think he was looking out the window and not seeing what we could see.

Tbh it didn’t spoil it for us the whole show on the ground and in the air was fantastic a great tribute to the Queen, makes you proud to be British, well done our armed forces.

Yep, noticed that.
They went out to East London, and the ran in along the route towards the Palace and along the Mall (you could actually here it pass Horse Guards on the TV during Trooping) and then they climbed up and stayed in the hover south of the Palace while the RAF flew past.

The 32 Sqn AW109 that flew from and to Northolt was the helo hovering over the area for the flypast that most people could hear and see.

I've downloaded the free version of the flight radar app, but can't seem to get military aircraft to show.
Does this show on paid versions only?

Aah OK. FR24 isn't the best for military.

ADS-B Exchange is a better one for military as you can isolate civil stuff with one click and it just shows military (that are not swicthed off of course)

There's a few others as well such a military.freedar.uk
