Scampton air show 2017

Just been reported on BBC Look North - very few details but it will be at Scampton not at the Lincolnshire showground which is next door.

I think they said September but don't quote me on that!

Home of the red arrows. Just the other side of Lincoln from RAF Waddington which stopped hosting the annual air show due to drones being remotely piloted out of there. Too much of a security risk the base commander said.

Saw this earlier. Glad that Lincolnshire will have another airshow again as it is bomber country.
I hope they have Lincoln showground as the camping base due to all the amenities and being off centre to the flight line means the views from there will be great but the caa won't get their knickers in a twist.
