Hi,
I'm in need of help identifying two boats that I have been left to deal with.
Long story short is that someone has left these two "projects" in one of my barns and has not returned to collect them so they need to be disposed of but I have no idea what type of boats they are or if it's actually worth trying to sell them.

The White (15 ft) one appears to be made my JEP Marine but can anyone tell me what type of boat it is, dinghy/day boat?
The blue (20 ft) one looks to be a fishing boat in need of repair, i know it was bought as a project.
Both hulls appear to be in good order but some restoration is required.

I'd like to be able to have a rough idea of what I should be asking for them, they might be worth nothing and i'd be as well cutting them up for firewood or i may be able to sell them to recoup some of the lost rent.

Any information would really help me as at the moment i'm spending hours googling "Boats for sale"

Thanks in advance.

Just a daft suggestion but getting old school and initially picking up the phone to JEP Marine in Faversham may work a treat...

Not a daft suggestion at all and I will probably call them to chat about the white one when they are open.

The blue one doesn't seem to have any identification though which is not helping. Do you know what type of boat it is?

Not worth a huge amount without trailers or engines. I would guess £500 each, assuming the hulls are water-tight and the throttle/steering controls are in reasonable condition.

The blue one, being wooden, is worth the square root of diddly squat. Anoint it with diesel and burn it. There is absolutely no market for wooden boats; you may have to pay someone to take it off your hands unless you are very lucky and meet someone naive.

The white one looks like it could be quite useful but I suspect £500 is absolutely top end - more likely half that. Remove the plywood extension before you photograph it for sale. It may even be worth your while getting hold of a cheap trailer to put it in - it will be much more marketable.

Good luck!

Best thing for it.

Stbd side turn of the bilge looks too tight, I think cracked frames, very common just there on that type of wooden hull. Its dead.
